Sdakwa Shine is set to release his latest song, ‘Injabulo remix’ on Friday, 28 March 2025 on the online platforms. Accompanied with a music video, it will be featuring various artists such as Lamas Ellz and Ellbe.
“The song is about happiness it’s about those who judging people who are working on having success with happiness in their lives”, he said. The multi-talent artist specializing with the Rap music, Kwaito and afro pop located in Bulawayo Trenance. The 24-year-old is quite ecstatic about his latest project. “In December 2024, I worked on a single titled, ‘Injabulo’ which was produced by Mannex and the video was directed by Sad Eyes Production. So, now I went back to the studio to cook up another hit with fellow artists, and I am so excited about it”, he said.
Born, Nqobani Nelson Dube on January 30, 2001, he earned his moniker on a soccer pitch. “The name stated when I was Trenance Primary School playing soccer and I was playing like a drunk person then they started calling me Sdakwa ended up using it as my stage name coz everyone now new me as Sdakwa”, he chuckled. Hismusic career began in 2015 whilst he was just in form 1 and he recorded his first song that same year, when he joined a music group, ‘Yung Hustlers’. “We started sampling songs because I was now motivated by the past track, I and shot my first music video in 2017 which flopped. Eventually the group split”, he said. He struck gold when he collaborated with Poison Kid, MK and Volcanic on a song called ‘Thandie’, which was produced and directed by SmashMaker and Brooklyn International Films.
Over the years, Sdakwa Shine has worked with many personalities such as the late Cal_vin, Mjox Mjokojoko, Mnara, Floppy X, 808,Uno.Xo, Obviedoh and producers who include Tflow, Txg (Toxi gyn), Frost de most and Ryzon. Other singles from Sdakwa Shine include There`s Things, Why, ‘Avulekile’ and ‘Senzaziyeka’.
