Detail state that the deceased confronted his attacker inquiring on why he had beaten up his friend resulting in a fight between pupils from the two schools. Bulawayo deputy police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele confirmed the issue also bringing into light that the victim was stabbed on the neck.

“The attacker and the deceased are both 16 years old form four students and the victim was pronounced dead on admission at United Bulawayo Hospitals” said Ass Insp Msebele. “We warn pupils not to carry weapons to school and not be involved in any form of street fights”
