BULAWAYO giants Highlanders square off with another giant from the capital, Harare in a blockbuster encounter at the National Sports Stadium in Harare this afternoon.
The two giants drew nil-all when they last met at Barbourfields stadium in April in a well-attended match.
Bosso, will be facing Caps United for the first time this season with interim manager Mandala ‘Lulu’ Mpofu at the helm, after taking over from Madinda Ndlovu.
Highlanders who sit 9th on the log with 23 points, have managed to remain unbeaten for five games, winning two and drawing three under Mpofu’s guidance.
The gaffer said that they will go into the match in search of their first away victory from home as it is a crucial game to them.
“We are searching for our first win away from home, which is the most important thing for us at the moment. I have been challenging the boys to get those three points away from home. We know it is not going to be easy because Caps United are a tough side which wants to win the league, making it even more difficult for us.”
“As much as we carry the underdog tag going into this one, Highlanders is a big club and they cannot afford to take us likely. We are having a good run at the moment and the boys are motivated so we expect to bring a positive result,” Mpofu said.
